***Okay seriously why does every time I post art now it's so blurry. Was it always this bad and I never noticed?

I wanted to test out Clip Studio Paint, and I love it. It's going to take some time to get used to but the stabilizer is a godsend. I could never get into Paint Tool Sai, it was too weird and things were placed in awkward spots, to me at least.

CSP is nearly identical to PS, things are placed in basically the same areas so finding familiar tools wasn't that hard. It's still missing features that are only in Photoshop though, like the liquify tool, that's a big one, but hopefully it'll be added in the future. ;3; On the other hand, it's got a lot of useful tools that Photoshop doesn't have too. I haven't tried painting in CSP yet though, so I should get around to trying that soon as well.

I use a shitty version of Photoshop CS2 because there's no way in hell I'm paying for the subscription service ever again. I did for school in freshman year of college and the price kept going up and up each month, even with a student subscription, PLUS the cancellation fee was horrid, so yeah, not doing that again. :/ CS2 has the basic photoshop features I need to make stuff with, but it's just so bad. If I rotate an image, it gets super blurry. I can't zoom outside the canvas area, the layers/hue slider windows just float on the canvas and get in the way, really not good.

Anyhoo, I never made a character sheet for Lexi so here it is. I didn't bother with shading because it would've taken too long. RIP her green eyes? They just didn't look right in this style.

Also, I'm not a furry. 👀 I've sorta questioned whether I was for years, and honestly, I just don't see myself in that way. I'm not really into the "furry fandom" y'know? Like, I'm not really into drawing those crazy wolf designs with a million neon colors or drawing characters that look like fursuits. There's probably more to it than that but you get the idea. So if you ask, Lexi ain't me, she's my daughter. my purple child. I use her as my online mascot.
