Description   Hummelichelys guttata  was a Trionychid (soft shelled) turtle of the middle Eocene of North America. Its carapace is about 40 cm long. This specimen was collected from the Green River Formation of Wyoming. It is on display at Western Wyoming College in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
This particular specimen shows the bite marks of a crocodile.
