I try to complete these color cards in 10 minutes or less, but sometimes it takes 20 or more.

I am driven by practical necessity. At cons I try to fisnish a $5 B&W sketchcard in 5 minutes. I have been developing techniques to be as fast with color cards.
One BIG time saver is to start with a colored paper card stock.
