These girls could have been born as trilpets! They all have blue/black hair, wear green and love to get down and dirty.
Think of the dirt clod fights and the mud wrestling!

The premise is that all three are seen at "tweenie" age. They did allow Buttercup to grow up in the CN Fusion Fall game.
Marie Kanker is from the CN cartoon series "Ed, Edd and Eddy".

Oddly the original art of this one was bought by a Toph fan. He recognized Buttercup but he had no idea who Marie Kanker is.

I will interpret "the end" as the girl on the right end if viewing from left to right.
Marie Kanker is a recurring character in the cartoon series "Ed, Edd and Eddy". She is a bit like Peppermint Patty from "Peanuts".
I drew her a bit more realistically than she appears in the series.

Wow, I really like it when characters share alot of traits. It creates an awesome archetype thing. I guess you could do the same thing with Harley Quinn and Misa Amane, from Death Note. I mean, they're both, beautiful blonde girls with promosing carreers that threw it all away over their love for a sociopath who doesn't care about them! XD One of my characters is alot like that too!

I have never seen "Death Note", but oddly enough, my daughter just acquired the boxed set at Sakuracon this weekend in Seattle. I may watch it with her.
I sold "Sep. @ Birth 3" sold at Norwescon this morning. Both the color and blue line sketch were bought by a Toph fan.
