Pencil Club Mentor Critique:
Very nice piece! It has a lot going for it from the nice details and proportions to the action and shading. My biggest suggestion for this piece would be tones. Use a wider range of varying pencil hardnesses to create more depth. I'm guessing this was done all with an HB pencil or so? If possible, add in darker tones in the heavily shadowed areas with something darker like a 2B and up. Personally, I do it in layers, blend and then put in another darker layer and blend until I get it where I want it to be. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you add in some darker tones. it's always scary at first (I use to be so scared I would ruin the piece) but work up to it in layers and I think you'll be pleased with the end results after some practice.

Very nice job! I'm a big fan of Altair.
From one artist to another, if you don't mind my comment, you could push the values a bit more. Trust me, it's uncomfortable at first to be so extreme, but it pulls off quite nicely each time. Maybe it's just the photo, but it's a nice mantra that I go by.
