Description
This is just a reference sheet I put together for my version of Godzilla in my in development stories. This focuses more on the younger version as seen in Godzilla Reborn. My primary inspiration for my version of the character is the Heisei series Godzilla from the 90s. A design that still feels like the definitive Godzilla to me. Though his blue eyes and a mouth that can hide his teeth gives him a much softer complexion which matches his demeanor in the series. Though don't mistaken gentle for pacifism, this Godzilla is still a fighter, I'll be it an inexperienced one. He also has more prominent gills like the new Monsterverse Godzilla. And yeah at the start of the story, he doesn't have access to his atomic powers, but when it finally awakens, that white pattern will permanently appear.Godzilla belongs to Toho

Nice. Excellent picture and a good description. I'm using the older Heisei Godzilla for my fanfic, "Godzilla vs the Bolt-Children of the Fire", of which two parts, the prologue and a interlude, "The Living Nightmare", have been posted so far.

Yeah the younger look does give him that feel. I do take elements from multiple in carnations while adding my own little spin. I also want Goji to have more expression which can be considered a Showa shout out.
