This is certainly an interesting little piece, especially since I know limited things about darkroom photography

I can see that some might actually interpret a lot from the main subjects being so out of focus, making it a very abstract kind of shot. I think that the really grainy and dark theme makes the piece seem genuinely old, and hints at a historical reference to something the viewer can only imagine. When I personally see the piece, I think of the kinds of stories we heard in high school history lessons, particularly those about Russia and the Czar and his family Although the piece may actually have nothing to do with it, it is nice that it managed to inspire mental images and stories within my mind as the viewer.

Although a lot of people may struggle with a more abstract piece, I think that with practice, you can possibly introduce this type of art-form to others more and more, good job Maybe in future you could experiment with out of focus buildings or structures with increasingly different architecture and shapes? It could certainly have an interesting result.
