I would love to try coloring this... I doubt it'd be as attentive to detail as your work, but for some reason I just want to color her. Maybe it's 'cause I have a redhead fetish. ;D

Yes... for some reason, red hair and green eyes are the best combination. Which is odd, because I have them. Maybe it's my own self-appreciation... haha.

nice pose! also, any advice on armour? i try to incorparated it, but i always fall somewhat short. any suggestions?

Do more. Even if they don't make sense, do them anyways! Make up armor until you know every little detail about how they're attached to the subject.
Look at sports armor, classic armor, eastern and western battle armor, insects, law enforcement and military pictures. Every little bit of info helps.
I've got a total affinity for armor too.

Excellent piece. I really like your female drawings...not the all your other drawings are worse or anything. Imean that I like your particular style of drawing women. They have a closer realism to them than most artists. Typical Comic artists would have made her proportions look more like barbie. And so far the women you have drawn haven't lppked the same either. I used to read a lot of Witchblade & Darkness but quit when I got sick of all the female characters looking like sisters or basically the same girl but with different coloured hair or height. Very cool work.
