I like the tones on this a lot. I'm wondering if you used photoref for the lighting on the gun? I know you have the resources, mad photomagician that you are.

No ref on the gun or lighting. I feel it would look dead on if I did use a ref instead of resembling a hybrid Sig/HK& pistol.

Good job, especially the overly large arms. Most people would probably think it is a mistake but snake actually has huge irregular arms for his size.

Haha...sorry about the goofy post a minute ago. Hrmm I looked at this a lil longer and had a couple thoughts. His head looks a bit small for his body. His arms are bigger around than his head. I dunno how easy that would be for you to fix.
However, great stuff as always. Good attention to detail - and the equipment is top notch looking. *thumbs up* Keep up the good work!

The LAM on that SOCOM is quite big, yes? The only thing I don't like about it is that Snake's arm seems a little too big. Other than that, sparkling pixel work. I like the addition of the wristwatch. Did he wear one in MGS? I noticed one on Raiden in the second one.

I know you not gona change anithing..and you sould not . but i guess everone use to snake with more abstracted face ...kinda eyes hiden in deep shadows. and it kinda anusual to see him with his big green eyes and al that. girls probably love it....but im use to more ...uuhh...eehh @hard core@ snake.
