You did an excellent job on that. I love how it's detailed, and yet still carries an air of simplicity about it. A lot of my family and step family were in the military, and I intend on joining the US Marine Corps after high school, which is why this piece really caught my attention.

It's amazing what can be done with two tones. Not only do I think it looks great with the contrast and composition, but it holds a bit of sentimental value as well.

I quite like this. It's stuff like this that could quite easily be turned into wallpaper for the computer.

except when they're bombing defenceless peasants back into the stone age for the sake of cheap oil?

Oh yes, the oil is so much cheaper. Ask Russia, they have now a total financial crisis and can't expand peace-loving their army, because they never sold cheaper. Also only 100 times "cheaper" in Iraq (hey, I thought they're in stone age now, what for they need this gas anwyay?). Are you always this stupid?

wow ur really on the ball there, did it take u that long to read my post?
Whether the bombing is for the sake of cheap oil, US strategic interests, lining the pockets of Halliburton contractors, getting the bad guys back for giving daddy a bloody nose in '92 or all of the above, it's still of defenceless peasants and it's still wrong, and I STILL won't support it. So fuck off.

it's spelled illiterate, and ur is a common usage in the forum in which our "discussion" is taking place.

Probably so, but when used by a native English speaker ("u") without irony, don't except anyone to take your pseudopolitical rants seriously. Because of Iraq US in now weaker militarily and politically, and "ur" petrol is now more expensive, and less Iraqi and more Russian. Also, US troops are the only obstacle remaining for Iraqis to go Bosnia all the way (they are inflicting thousands of causaulties on each other every month anyway). Here is your Iraq 06 update:
[link]
Feeling the heat from the militias and security forces, Baghdad's Sunnis know their best hope for protection lies in the Americans, the very occupying forces they have despised for toppling them from power. My meeting with a high-level commander of a Sunni insurgent group takes an unexpected turn when he angrily demands, "Where are the Americans? Why aren't they protecting our people?" For two years, the man has boasted to me about his fighters' operations against U.S. soldiers. Now he wants them as a shield from the marauding militias. It's clear from his indignation that the irony escapes him.
But I guess for you it will be forever just evil red-eyed Americans extracting expensive Cheap Oil[tm] from Iraqi children.

read the title before you start posting stereo-typical comments.
it is support YOUR troops. not support OUR troops. this picture has nothing to do with politics, nor usa foreign involvement. take a hike.

the troops are armed with modified M4 carbines, thus they ARE american and it's perfectly valid they should attract commentary relating to Yank foreign policy, no need to get abusive, altho I cant say I'm surprised, u right-wing moron.
