this picture really grows on me. the more i stare, the more i am drawn to his eyes searching the heavens for hope. it seems like he is being condemned with only a single hot tear to comfort him. T___T the title is fitting and makes me think about your gorgeous work even more.

Despite the eyes being such a pale color, you can see the emotion purely in his eyes. Also, the paint splatters convey emotion to me, by making it look like a gathering storm..

I love the contrast you consistantly do between hard edged textures (looking like gesso, or cement) with soft skin textures. Great job!
