ok I thought this would be more helpful than the old GIB Journal for Groundcolors of HWBPlease keep in mind, that all HWBs has the HOMOZYGOUS DUN GENE DD!!!!

Basic Colors
all colors are based by Black (Eumelanin= dark pigment) and Chestnut (phaeomelanin=reddish pigment)
Black: aa_EE / aa_Ee
Chestnut/Liver Chestnut: aa_ee / Aa_ee / AA_ee
Modifications of ground colors
Bay
is a modification of black caused by the Agouti gene. There are many shades of Bay
Light/Wild/Red/Dark: AA_EE / AA_Ee / Aa_EE / Aa_Ee
Seal Brown is a special shade of Bay: AtAt_EE / AtAt_Ee / AtA_EE / AtA_Ee / Ata_EE / Ata_Ee
Blue
is also a modification of black.
The blue color isn´t caused by a Pigment, it´s only the using of the Tyndall effect. Short waved Light will be heavier scattered than long waved light at the horse hair so it seems blue. Genetic only occurs with the dominant E not with the e.
Blue has no effect at chestnut and genecode will dissapear if crossed with Chestnut based horses
Blue: aa_EbEb / aa_Ebe /AA_EbEb / AA_Ebe / Aa_EbEb / Aa_Ebe
Fire
is a modification of Chestnuts.
By the pigment Xanthommatin (from group of Ommatines) the fur is colored with a bright orange/yellow shade.
It only works with chestnut bases at black bases the gene will dissapear.
Fire: axax_ee / Axax_ee / AxAx_ee
Berry
is a modification of Chestnut. Fur of the horse contains the pigment Lycopen (carotenoid), which you can also find in tomatos, fruits and also ladybugs, genetic is _c and it´s coupled at the Chestnut gene phaeomelanin _a.
It only works at Chestnut bases. at black bases the gene is not visible.
Berry base coats can have a light shade (true Berry) or a darker shade (cherry). Both colors have the same genetic:
True Berry/ Cherry: acac_ee / Acac_ee / AcAc_ee
Champagne
Dilutes black and red base in a brighter shade. Characteristics: Pink Skin with dark freckles (especially around eyes/muzzle), shiny coat and eyes that change color (born with blue eyes, mostly change into hazel/amber).
Classic Champagne: aa_EE_ChCh / aa_Ee_ChCh
Golden Champagne: aa_ee_ChCh / Aa_ee_ChCh / AA_ee_ChCh
Amber Champagne: AA_EE_ChCh / Aa_Ee_ChCh / AA_Ee_ChCh / Aa_EE_ChCh
Sable Champagne: AtAt_EE_ChCh / Ata_Ee_ChCh / AtAt_Ee_ChCh / Ata_EE_ChCh
Royal Champagne: aa_EbEb_ChCh / aa_Ebe_ChCh /AA_EbEb_ChCh / AA_Ebe_ChCh / Aa_EbEb_ChCh / Aa_Ebe_ChCh
Sun Champagne: axax_ee_ChCh / Axax_ee_ChCh / AxAx_ee_ChCh

Cream Single Gene
This gene Bleaches the hair of the horses. Single Cream is heterozygous genetic and has not a huge bleaching effect.
Smoky Black: aa_EE_nCr / aa_Ee_nCr
Palomino: aa_ee_nCr / Aa_ee_nCr / AA_ee_nCr
Buckskin: AA_EE_nCr / Aa_Ee_nCr / AA_Ee_nCr / Aa_EE_nCr
Aquatic: aa_EbEb_nCr / aa_Ebe_nCr /AA_EbEb_nCr / AA_Ebe_nCr / Aa_EbEb_nCr / Aa_Ebe_nCr
Sunset: axax_ee_nCr / Axax_ee_nCr / AxAx_ee_nCr

Cream Double Gene
It´s the homozygous Form of Cream gene and as a strong bleaching efffect.
Smoky Cream: aa_EE_CrCr / aa_Ee_CrCr
Cremello: aa_ee_CrCr / Aa_ee_CrCr / AA_ee_CrCr
Perlino: AA_EE_CrCr / Aa_Ee_CrCr / AA_Ee_CrCr / Aa_EE_CrCr
Azure: aa_EbEb_CrCr / aa_Ebe_CrCr /AA_EbEb_CrCr / AA_Ebe_CrCr / Aa_EbEb_nCrCr / Aa_Ebe_CrCr

Raspberry: acac_ee_CrCr / Acac_ee_CrCr / AcAc_ee_CrCr
Roan
they have a distribution of white hairs at their fur. Except of legs, mane/tail and head. At blues and fire HWBs roan is called "Dusty". but it is meant the same thing.
Blue (Black) Roan: aa_EE_RR / aa_Ee_RR
Strawberry (Red) Roan: aa_ee_RR / Aa_ee_RR / AA_ee_RR
Bay Roan: AA_EE_RR / Aa_Ee_RR / AA_Ee_RR / Aa_EE_RR

Sand Agouti
has only effect at black/chestnut bases. At other colors the Sand Agouti will disappear.

Bright/Red Sand Agouti: aa_ee_San / Aa_ee_San / AA_ee_San
Primeval Agouti
Colors the underside and head of the horsei into a darker shade. Some "wild stripes" at neck, withers and back occur.

hair is covered by a transparent layer of horn which refelcts the sunlight.

Paradise Dots auf Royal Blue Reverse Navi Dun (kann man hier finden: The Helsinki Warmblood - Dun Variations 1 )
Navi Dun ist eine abwandlung des Tabby Duns und wirkt nur auf blauen, schwarzen und fire felfarben.
das Reverse Dun färbt die tabby streifen heller als die grundfarbe deiner stute
