I can't play them... hopeless. But I believe the second game is AMAZING.

Oh my scandal. The creator of the best selling gears
comic cant play them, stop the presses.
When it comes out as a trade copy ill buy it. Never
liked the idea of buying comics issue by issue...
even less when i need to import them one by one^^

LOL! I know! I can't play any games! But I love the Gears universe and characters. I think it makes the comic better because I'm not consumed by the game, it's something connected but not the same - a companion piece really, like the novels.
The trade will be the best way to read it, so good plan.

None at all? Ive been scaling back on them as
i sadly begin to age... but i still love a good
game^^ Ive kinda held the oppinon that gears was
just another shooter with large muscular men shooting
etchother and swearing. Didnt know there was any
deepth to it^^
Yup trades is what i like. Its what keeps making me

None at all. I got a XBox about six months back to research the game. Can't play it to save my life! I'm 40 now, and never played - man, I write songs, just published my first novel, run a publishing house, art direct a Time Out comic, and draw the Gears of War comic for Wildstorm, which is an off-shoot of DC comics. Plus I've got three kids - so I have an insanely busy life! LOL! But when I try these games I'm all thumbs. No idea WHAT the bloody buttons do, and whatever the mags say, it's NOT intuitive unless you've already played for years...

LOL! Yeah, I was a slacker at 24, but they didn't have XBoxes then - probably a bloody good thing too at the time otherwise I'd have likely gotten hooked! For me it was all wine (or rather beer), women and song back then. Hedonistic halcion days!

Not in the UK it wasn't... But I was still recovering from a convention in Dublin. WAAAAAY too much Guinness consumed, and very late nights, followed by long days sketching for fans.

Say what do artist do at cons. Ive never
been to one but i imagine that the artist
sit around with a pipe wrench and threaten
