wanted to go a lil differnt to my usual style, show some rangefairly obvious that im trying to get my portoflio ready for the big boys lol

Your colors are really nice. On this piece in particular, I think (especially in Panel 1) with the light that strong from above, there should be some of it hitting Batman's head and shoulders.
Still, the piece is very well done!

i did put some in originally, but in the end i though it made him more scary looking, in honesty i wish id gone a lot darker with this page

very true, unfortuantly even though i know a lot of people i still wanna try the hard route first

hey it's not the hard route, think of this as preperation.... even when your mates with your contacts they normally turn around and say "Have you got any test pages of - that i can show to such and such", this way your prepared lol, rather than rushing to get some batman pages ready overnight you can sit back, relax and pop them in an email
