Grinchypaws has struck the ranch! He's stolen all of Santmyos' presents and the unadopted owlcross babies from the barn, it's up to the travelers around the ranch to bring this four-legged villain to justice!

The map provided is one that most travelers should recognize, the ranch, in order to start the search for mean old GrinchyPaws there are a few things that need to be done first! There are two ways to start the hunt;

You can choose one of the following NPC's to assist you in your hunt,
Ianthe
Hiathin
Prisk

If you have a NPC with you in your search you may choose two squares to search instead of one; however any presents or items that you find in the search will be brought back to the ranch and raffled off all at once if no owners are found. If you find one of the missing babies/kidnapped critters they are yours to keep as long as you let the mother (in the case of the babies) know you found them! Wouldn't want her to worry right?

If you choose not to have an NPC accompany you then you may only search one square per turn but you may keep everything that you find for yourself.

Once you've chosen your NPC, or lack thereof, choose one of the square's to start your search! (ex: 10-D) you will find one of the following things;
An empty square.
One of the missing gifts; There are 60 unique holiday themed capsules and 20 unique holiday themed cards/items.
One of the missing babies, There are four missing owlcross babies.
One of the 5 other critters that GrinchyPaws had kidnapped along the way
Or GrinchyPaws himself!
If you encounter GrinchyPaws you have a few different options, if you have an NPC with you then you must battle him. If you don't you can battle him or choose to run away, once GrinchyPaws has been battled twice (doesn't have to be by the same person) He will be available to try and capture on his deviation, if he is caught before he's been found all four times on the board then he will no longer be encounter-able.

So get your team ready to hunt down the nefarious GrinchyPaws!

For the duration of christmas day you may choose a square to search every 30 minutes, once christmas is over it will be every hour, in addition every item you find will be doubled for today only!

Also as the first trial of this new system, if you purchase the premium content you will get a map marked with the places that GrinchyPaws has been spotted to aid you in your search, please do not share it between yourselves the point is to see how I can use this premium content feature in future games.
