Some cool female characters from books that somehow marked my life ^^ This is the closest picture to them just as they look like in my mind.

Indeed! Jenniffer did a great job with her, though... I felt like they had some opportunity to bring more racial diversity to the table. Specially because Katniss was, indeed, quite swarthy U.U

YESSSS. I loved her portrayal of Katniss, but to me she sadly didn't fit the 'olive skin' bit that was prominent in the books. Off topic kind of, but I swear people never read the books when it came to that uproar that surrounded Rue's casting

Bwahahaah we had some laughs with Rue stuff. My boyfriend started complaining after the movie and it went something like this:
Bf: Why do they always have to put a black character only to kill them then?
We stare at him.
Me: Rue was black my love.
His friend: Yes.
Bf: (Puzzled) No. I don't remember that.
Me: What book have you read?
Bf: The same as you!
Me: Well she was black.
Friend: The WHOLE district was black.
Bf: (Silent contemplation)
Friend: THEY PICKED COTTON.
Me: Yeah the irony was kinda cruel from the Capitol.
Bf: (Shrugs) Okay, whatever. (In a lower voice) Why did I believed her to be blonde then?
Me: Because Katniss said in the books that she reminded her of Prim.
That's why probably many people got confused.
(No, really, I hate when they introduce ONE black, likable character to then kill it. Though in the movies there were many more black/brown people, so I guess it wasn't so noticeable)

Yeah that is what I deducted. They thought 'like Prim' and immediately came to the conclusion she was white DESPITE THE OBVIOUS DESCRIPTION THAT SHE WAS DARK SKINNED LOL

I KNEW IT! I love Sonea's design! Can you draw the High Lord with Sonea? Maybe when they were in the desert or the tiny waterfall scene? How about their BABY GROWN UP... Gosh, I am so excited!

Me too! It took me a while to come up with the High Lord's name, (actually, I looked it up hehe....). It's Akkarin! Hopefully I spelled this right... If you don't remember much, that's fine. I was just hoping for more fan art of those two together because, well, they didn't end up together so I didn't get closure. ( TT m TT ) (I don't want to spoil for potential readers!) Good job on all those characters though! Keep at being awesome!

Creo que Zaisei merece más atención que Victoria de aquí a la Habana xD aunque yo soy más de Kestra (y por otro lado, Memorias de Idhún me parece sobrevalorada, me gustó mucho más Donde los árboles cantan).
Me llama la atención que coincidamos en cuatro de nueve, creo que no he coincidido en tantos en mucho tiempo. Por curiosidad, ¿has leído La ladrona de libros?

Sí! Liesel estuvo a punto de ser incluida en este dibujo, pero al final quedó fuera. Me gustó mucho el libro, era muy bonito, y aunque era triste, al menos no me dejó destrozada.

Oh thank you so much. The narrator described her young portrait as an empty and cold woman, with souless eyes. I tried to catch the loss and hidden pain that should be in Vida's face. Well, at least I tried XDD

Ive read Hunger Games and now Black magician triology for the second time...and after this i searched for pictures...
And i found this one...! Now i hope i can read more interesting books....Theyre looking really cool

The third book had got all the action that the other two should have had. At the end it was a bit sad, but the thing is I didn't notice about the kid until Sonea revealed it... Well, I thought they had kissed and cuddled for a while, no more. The writer described it too, too vaguely XD

I love your Katniss. So many people try to represent her as a sex symbol and that's so not how I imagined her as I read. She was rugged and grouchy! For good reason, but she was no Jennifer Lawrence. She wasn't unattractive, but I never imagined her appearance as being a defining quality, you know?

True!! Well, Jennifer did a great work playing Katniss. She´s not too pretty, and at least they gave her a tan skin (Though, I think of Katniss a lot darker). Yes, Katniss was like... well, she even got a scar in her face when she was hit whith a whip in the second book. She's not that kind of person whose appearance matters.

Yes, I loved "Celestes" (Well, in Spanish it was said like that). They could sense everyone´s emotions. They were my favourite race in Idhun *w*

I'm ashamed that I only know about two of those books. One I haven't read yet and the other one is a 'reading-in-progress' kinda book. But it's really awesome how you were able to vary in facial structures throughout these many characters! I have many difficulties with it

Well, it´s very useful to look at the facial structures in every actor in movies, or famous people, or typical beauty from every race and/or country, and see what makes the difference between them all. It helps a lot.
