Story:
With all the spectacular events lately, it was quite interesting to see if all show-riders knew where to turn the next week. And having different locations for your stable and riders living in different parts of the world did not make it easier to administrate everything by one hand. WIth the main part being in New York City - yet having the Reid Estate as a “part” of the Azure brand, with the now almost done Philadelphia Center - in place of the old Lexus Stables - and of course with Brayden O’Herron in UK, yet riding under the Irish flag just created a whole chaos for steering everything smoothly, But who likes being normal and simple? Definitely not the Reids.

Dianne and Sean seemed to work the administrative stuff out well, with mostly Dianne having all the abilities to make everything go smoothly - or mostly smoothly, and Sean presenting his communication skills and equestrian knowledge, so he could dictate the establishment in Philadelphia to build up as perfectly as it could be. The old place was still quite close to his heart, so having the financial safety to buy and rebuild the place was a huge positivity of his life. No wonder, it was a devastating blow for all when the whole property burned to the ground, thanks to a Jane or John Doe. Without any gore details, with casualties and seeing a place standing for decades being destroyed in a night was a quite shock for the locals and all who knew the place well. But life is never an easy thing, it has to go, and it was now an Azure property to rebuild and give it’s old flame back.

With Sean being occupied with managing and leading the works, John and Leen took the place as the main riders for Azure, beside all the others who competed in lower classes - or same classes, but these two gave the “name” for the brand, after all. Mostly Leen, as John is riding for the Reid Estate mostly, but to save Leen from all the pressure, it is just a silent agreement in the family. Quite weird to baby a grown woman like Leen, but they knew well how she can be, and even having her riding again and competing at high levels were a miracle as well. It seems to be a family tradition for Reids to return back to the competing fields after a long break. WIth John coming back after being a trainer for years, such like Sean after his injuries and the same with Leen. Three generation of returning, it is quite an inside joke now for them.

With new generation of horses arriving to such a large equestrian center like Azure, it was evident that they rode many great horses, being lucky enough to see these babies to grow up, mature into wonderful and talented show horses, just like their parents and other big names in their pedigrees. Even if all riders had their “heart horses”, they dutifully and lovingly took on the new tasks and hardships of partnering up with youngsters, getting to know their abilities, personalities, positive and negative traits while they worked together. And one of them was Venator.
Venator a latin word, meaning hunter, which suited the young colt quite well, as he had quite a drive to catch lil animals, freaking everyone out with his antics quite often. The lil spotted horse was a power-horse though, with a content drive to improve himself - if not alone, then with his little best friend named Chico, the Australian Warmblood colt - and to prove everyone what a perfect lad he is. A great showman with many ambitions and proudness to show the maximum each time. Good thing he is more intelligent than an egoist, so he is still a horse people can be happy to work with. John of course, loved to take this young and strong cold under his wings for the foreseeable future, bringing the young colt along to other shows - where was still young to compete in - so he can get used to that lifestyle. Even with his proudness, Venator knew his place in the herd, being happy to stroll next to Stroud or Snowdance - who is like a lead mare in his eyes, so he would not try his stupid antics, instead trying to win her approval each time she is near. Fascinating to see such a headstrong teen go silent and well-behaved as soon as he spot the boss-mare.

Inherited from his father, Venator has flash gaits, so he loved to show off his dressage talent. Luckily, he knew well that John was a man to respect and love to work with, so he can receive the same amount - if not more - respect and love back. And of course, all the treats and expensive shampoos - Venator’s weakness, Most of this respect comes from the thought of seeing Snowdance work with the man, so if the boss-mare loves this dude, he gonna love him too.

As Leen decided to be the groom this time to help this Team Silver out - how funny, most of the man’s horses fit in the Team Silver team - so Leen took the job of preparing Venator for the first class - with obviously respecting his mane and taking one step back if the horse wanted some distance. Indeed, senator’s only weak point was his mane - well, forelock - but he still proudly protected it and demanded all the soft caring for the precious braids or hair washing. He is a stylish horse after all.

“I appreciate you helping me out this time again, but you sure don’t mind missing some school days over this?” John asked as the three made it to the outdoor arena for the Dressage class.
“Nah, it’s fine, you know I will get the stuff from the others. Let me worry about exam season only, other stuff really should be ignored now. Which I won’t do obviously, but oh well.” Once a Leen, always a Leen. Even if she tries to work on her anxiety issues, they never leave her, like a bad spirit, so her new habit of avoiding it is denying the existence of any issues or stress factors. This seemed to be not successful again, but at least she tries.
“But let’s not worry about my stuff right now, concentrate on the show field and take care out there.” She laughed. “You too Venator, show them what a superstar you are!” She encouraged them and waved them goodbye when their time came to enter the arena…
