Description
This is painted in oils with a palette knife.
As I painted this tree I thought about how magical and wondrous it would have seemed to me as a child. I would have wanted to sit under it and read and make it my secret place. How wonderful it would have smelled. I hope this painting lets you wonder a bit too.

I have been thinking about
trying out some of the impasto
mediums. Those look fun.

It is so different and lose for me.
Sometimes after I work on something, I need to
take a few days to "really" see it.
It is better to look at from a distance.
Close up it is a huge mix of color. LOL
