Description I made this for fun (and 'cause I'm a huge genetics nerd) and I hope you guys find this helpful!

*NOTE I'm not saying this is 100% accurate, so please double check before taking my complete word for this, as I am not a professional cat studier.

Quick terms:

Eumelanin, aka the stuff that makes hair dark colored, is classified in cats with a "B".
Pheomelanin, aka the stuff that makes hair light colored, is classified in cats with "X's, O's and Y's, depending on the gender.
Heterozygous = carries different genes, ex: Aa
Homozygous = carries the same gene, ex: AA | aa
Allele = one of two or more alternative forms of a gene that arise by mutation and are found at the same place on a chromosome.
Gene =  a unit of heredity that is transferred from a parent to offspring and is held to determine some characteristic of the offspring
Dominant = Will have this gene, or a big chance of carrying it.
Semi-dominant = Will have this gene if paired with a recessive, might carry it if paired with a dominant.
Recessive = Will only show this gene if paired with another recessive, might carry it if paired with a more dominant gene.
Agouti = Tabby patterns in cats.
