Solar eclipse in Araras, SP, Brazil. 2023/10/14.

When I was pondering about what came out of this composition, I realized why I liked so much this sequence of photos. The cloudy sky in the city helped, in a way, to tell a story through the eclipse. The Sun, initially dying, is eclipsed by the moon and then, after meeting his own shadow, rebirths.

The clouds were a bummer at first, but, as in life, they actually served a great purpose - to tell a story of death and redemption in a timeless clockwork sky.
