I said I would color it! :'DI used a ballpoint pen for the lines and shading etc and watercolor for the coloring.

First off, ITS SO ADORABLE AND SCARED AND I WANT ONE!
OK, now to get serious. The one thing that i noticed it that there's no shadow. Even in you pen version i can see a little bit of a shadow. obviously, just darken so that its not like ya dragged and dropped the fluffiness, but not to dark. One other thing that i noticed is that there is no distinguishable direction the lighting is coming from. So, point that out with your whites and light colors and it's will be wonderful.
I have so say the coloring of the fur and the tree are beautiful. Their textures are distinguishable, and amount of certain hues are to perfection.

How did you keep the water from smearing the pen? I tried this once...I failed.

hmm, what kind of pen do you use? I use a big atlantis ballpoint pen, I never had any problem with that pen. At least when I let the drawing dry a bit, say for 10 minutes or so..

I use a cheap pen you find in grocery stores.
