Only occasionally. That's why he needs Al (or Annette) around.

typewriters that can twist time
And now excuse me, I have to check on our toaster, if it looks suspicious.

My toaster can't twist time, but it is blessed by Albert Wesker...
Remember, if you travel back in time, don't change anything! Except if you can prevent the extinction of dinosaurs, you could try doing something about that...

Okey, I'll try not to change anything ... but wouldn't it be - I don't know - weird when I can prevent the dinosaurs from extinction?

Time paradoxes are a wonderful thing.
If you could travel back to any time, and you could change things, where would you go, and what would you do?
Personally, I would visit the mesozoic era and bring back some dinosaur eggs.

I always wanted to prevent the assassination of Gaius Iulius Caesar in 44b.c. No kidding, I'm thinking about that since I first fell in love with ancient Rome

How do you think it would change history? I think usually people over-estimate the importance of single events like that, and the overall trends in society are more important. But I'm not any authority on ancient Rome.
I used to be really into ancient Egypt, though. Partly because of reading Sinuhe Egyptian when I was 8, but also because I just love different ways of writing, and I love hieroglyphs and studying them.

I'm actually not sure, how exactly it would change history, it would certainly affect the reign of Augustus and then maybe some major or minor things in Roman history. And it could have also changed the fate of Cleopatra, so Egypt is involved
My reason for preventing Caesar's assassination is that he was the first historical character I was totally fascinated with.

I really had problem with that one when I was 10 or so. I had real existential crisis there. But then I realised that I really can't know anything except the things that go on inside my head, but it's reasonable to act as if my senses are usually telling me the truth, since if they are not, well, too bad then, but I have no way of telling if they are not.
