Yeeeaaaah... I guess I was a bit bored and *Verdokai had been doing some of these so I thought that I might as well
It is always interesting to see how things evolve, after all
So I picked some characters and drew some portraits, oh yeah!
And sure, I have a lot of other characters but most of them haven't changed much, except for the obvious changes that comes due to me getting better and my style changing somewhat >_>
So these are the ones you get now... I might do more if I find more characters that have evolved enough but I doubt it...
And... yeah. My designs way back when were pretty silly, and I've tried to draw the 'then'-pictures in a style similar to the one I had back then... but it wasn't easy and I refuse to do certain things
Like the ridiculously thin faces and crappy anatomy. I think you get the point as it is anyway.So... yeah. Enjoy.

It's really cool to see this, and how the chars have developed since you first created them. Trick is really, really cute and I totally fall head over heels for Jester once again ^^ <3
Mitia's transformation is interesting, and very suiting for his character nowadays - but no matter how he looks Mitia is

Actually, I liked Kim Valances design... But the new design might be less FF and more balanced 
I think all modern designs are better than the old ones. But that doesn't mean the old ones weren't good

I must admit that my favourite change out of those is Kim Valance.

I've grown out of that one x'D And that means that it's pretty difficult to draw old characters since most of them are girly and I'm beginning to lean towards a rougher style (or at least I want to )
I still have a weak spot for certain specific androgynous characters though but not the concept as a whole...

Only one I liked better in the "then" form is Trick, I liked his "investigative journalist caught in wrong place" look
I love the newer version of Mitia precisely because of the things you pointed out there as a change. He looks playful and somehow soft/kind and wickedly challenging - that's how I like the unpredictable, insane, deadly dangerous, hot boys looking like 
Therian looks 100% better now

For some reason I started discussing Mitia and his behaviour with ~TwilightLucia and I realised that there is so much to his behaviour and believes... I should really write it all down

Damn you. I thought I'd gotten over my crush of Nikita, and then here you come prancing in with him and his glorious self on a silver platter like that. Now what am I gonna do?
But yeah, Nikita without the nose is just... some wannabe dressing up as him. Which is odd. I love how he looks so much more mature nowadays.
Also: Terian is a beautiful, beautiful man, and I want to steal his hairdo. I'll try not to. *reaches out to pet* Glasses suit him. And hey look, is that his younger sister to the left there?
Pre-do-over Mitia looks like he's high on his own evil... ness, and enjoying it. I must say, I prefer the more deceptive version, and not just for the eye candy. It's a testament to the significance of quirks that that silver earring looks so out of place that I thought you'd missed out on colouring it in.
I could go on forever, but what I'm aiming for is: Wow, your style has changed a lot. And gained depth along the way, not to mention originality.
Now I want to do this myself, and I dread the results...

The old Mitia... well... he looks so much like everybody else that I find him boring. I really like the fact that he looks kind and smooth nowadays, because it honestly fits him better. Looking evil is so outdated
And yeah, the silver vs. gold earrings is... it's a law, as said, that it's only gold nowadays. He has silver in ONE story. But that's because he's brainwashed so I can't really blame him x'D

Looking at all the previous designs, I was going "That's nice....and what is that?" But then I saw all the new ones and promptly squee'd, fell the ground, rolled around a bit and died of fangirling. Then my mom came in and gave the Rib Kick of Life (tm).
