Thank you! Yeah it does have that graphic quality to it. And I admire anyone who can do dark room that well XD...I think so much of photography is now just digital manipulation...it's really nice to see someone using to traditional darkroom...and still have good composition and contrast. =].

Thank you. To tell the truth, I had to take a photography class for my degree. I didn't think I would like it, but there's a lot of skill I didn't know was involved, and I ended up getting really into it. I was looking at your photo and thought "Wow, someone really knows how to use the darkroom to their advantage."
Too bad film is just too expensive and impractical these days.

Yeah =/...I don't know...digital work has it's qualities...and I admire brilliant digital photographers just as much...but there's something about dark room...it just has another dimension. It is depressing that film is almost becoming a lost art in the digital age...

It's true. I especially like the aspect of working with my hands in the darkroom, that the lights and darks aren't a matter of a photoshop filter but of my own trial and error with dodging and burning.
The only think I really didn't like about it was that it was fucking creepy to be in there alone.

HAHA! Weird stories...I had a friend in the dark room and I walked in and she didn't notice....I approached her to see what she was doing...she jumped and smacked me right in the nose. XD.
But I know exactly what you mean...it takes understanding to work with photoshop...but with your own hands...it feels so much more natural...it's just not the same with clicking.
It's depressing that you don't do darkroom anymore =[...you should upload some of your other work though!

Lol! My friend started hearing things in the darkroom. She had to leave every minute or so just because she was so freaked out. The last straw was during finals when she had to be in there for a couple of hours. She started hearing what sounded like kids playing on a playground. Fucking creepy.
Yeah, totally can't afford darkroom stuff, and even the camera was borrowed from the friend who heard creepy noises. I'll definitely think about uploading more stuff.
