Before using these icons
Put all icons you're going to use in a folder that is easy to find and where these icons can stay. You can, for instance, create a "icon" folder in "Pictures" where you place all these icons. A icon to a shortcut is only linked and if you move a icon from it's place, each shortcut that uses this icon must be re-linked.

Windows XP or earlier
There is a chance that these icons won't work as expected on these systems. In Vista, a icon can be up to 256x256 pixels whereas in XP, icons can only be a maximum of 32x32 pixels.
These icons can only replace shortcuts for programs/files. These shortcuts can be placed on to the desktop, in folders or in the Start Menu. Icons on the taskbar or on windows can't be changed.
To change system desktop icons like Recycle Bin and My Computer, right click on the desktop and choose "Properties", click the tap "Desktop", then choose "Customize Desktop...". In the new window, click on a icon and choose "Change icon...".

Windows Vista
These icons can only replace shortcuts for programs/files. These shortcuts can be placed on to the desktop, in folders or in the Start Menu. Icons on the taskbar or on windows can't be changed.
To change system desktop icons like Recycle Bin and Computer, right click on the desktop and choose "Personalization", click the link "Change desktop icons" on the menu to the left. In the new window, click on a icon and choose "Change icon...".

Windows 7
These icons can only replace shortcuts for programs/files. These shortcuts can be placed on to the desktop, in folders or in the Start Menu. In Windows 7, you can also change the icons on the taskbar too, only if they're pinned. Icons on windows can't be changed.
The folder which keeps the shortcuts on the taskbar is located at %AppData%MicrosoftInternet ExplorerQuick LaunchUser PinnedTaskBar, paste that in the adsress bar and you'll be taken to that folder. Here, you can change the icons on the programs that are
pinned.
To change system desktop icons like Recycle Bin and Computer, right click on the desktop and choose "Personalization", click the link "Change desktop icons" on the menu to the left. In the new window, click on a icon and choose "Change icon...".

Windows 8
These icons can only replace shortcuts for programs/files. These shortcuts can be placed on to the desktop, in folders or in the Start Menu. In Windows 8, you can also change the icons on the taskbar too, even if they're not pinned. Icons on windows can't be changed.
Changing an icon for a program in the Start Menu will change this icon in both the Start Menu and on the taskbar. Shortcuts for the programs are placed in the hidden folder %WinDir%ProgramDataMicrosoftWindowsStart Menu and %AppData%MicrosoftWindowsStart Menu depending on if it's showed for all users or only you. (You can move all shortcuts from AppData too WinDir to aviod confusion and if you're the only user).
To change system desktop icons like Recycle Bin and Computer, right click on the desktop and choose "Personalization", click the link "Change desktop icons" on the menu to the left. In the new window, click on a icon and choose "Change icon...".

How to change an icon
To change a icon on a shortcut, right click on a shortcut and choose "Properties". In the new window choose "Change Icon...". In the new window, at the top, a button is labled "Browse...", click on that. Browse to the folder where you put these icons, and choose your icon. Then press "OK" on both windows and the shortcut should have the new icon.

Yeah? There have been other My Little Pony-fans, guys, who has meet girls. Other people don't think like you do, everyone are different.

Nope, there's nothing good about a man who watches shows for little girls. That's a sign that there is something not right.

I think it's worse than that. Gay people like effeminate things, but they aren't tactless enough to obsess over things for little girls.

Liking the same things women like is bad, liking what little girls like is abominable.

Here's an amusing fact: the creator of the show herself stated that she did NOT create the show for little girls only, your argument is invalid.

If you see ponies in something and automatically assume that it can never be not-only-for-little-girls even after seeing so many people liking it then there must be something "abominable" about your attitude. After reading some of your comments we can see that it's your extremely "lawful" views. You label things as right and wrong and your arguments are famous people and how your views match theirs. Well, here's some funny stuff: Throughout the history there are lots of famous people, even those with "bright ideas" whose attitudes contradict each other, are sexist, judgemental, etc. even within societies "right" and "wrong" are different in pretty much every culture, not to mention that those views changed through ages. So now we have your attitude and you seem to think that it's the only possible one, labelling those who have different views as "wrong". Well according to you I might be "wrong", but looking from aside it's like saying "I'm right and there can be no other opinion... because it's me..."

How about we quote you for some more fun"
"I have given MLP fans numerous opportunities to explain why they like it. They can't do it. They either say something completely wrong or they give the same reasons a child would"?
"...say something completely wrong..." - This (at least from my perspective) sounds like "they're disagreeing with me, therefore their arguments are invalid - they're wrong"
Now about "They can't do it" part. We can. A lot of people did, but you just labelled them as "wrong".

We might not be what you or society label as "right" and we know that too well, but considering all the positive stuff bronies do you have no reason to call us "wrong" hate us and try to offend us.

If there is a rule or standard it's not an absolute "truth" or law or whatever. There is just a reason why it's there and there are exceptions. If you understand the reason you can discover a lot of interesting things...

She can say whatever she wants, she's not even with the show anymore. If she wants to make a show for people of all ages, and the company that owns both the network AND the license wants to make a show for little girls, it will be a show for little girls. As much as people excuse the merchandise driven model by claiming Lauren Faust had full creative control, that's not how television works. They can, and do, step in at any time they feel they aren't maximizing their profit.

I have not seen one episode directed at any other demographic than the one that magic ponies have always had. Including minor, easter egg references that don't add any substance to the show at all doesn't warrant watching it. Do you scour every episode of Dora the Explorer or Sesame Street for every reference that might appeal to adults? I hear Sesame Street has quite a bit of innuendo, but it is a kids show, and nothing more.

The show is about pretty, magic, girly ponies who sing songs and gush about friendship. If the theme of your show is dominated by those aspects, you have to take great measures to redeem them with relevant life lessons, violence, or well-written plots. MLP has none of these things.

When I say the arguments of pony fans up to this point have been wrong, I don't mean according to me. I mean they accepted that it was wrong and abandoned their arguments to tell me people can just like whatever they want.

They praise the animation, but the animation is Flash, which is the most limited and least organic form of animation. It is used to produce the worst results with the least amount of effort.

They praise the writing, but every single plot is one that has already been re-hashed by every cartoon that has come before it. One character having tickets and having to choose between two friends who want to go with them is one of the most used plots of all time.

They say the characters are relatable, but if you relate to simplified, magic, pretty, babyish, sentimental ponies who gush about friendship, then you are a mental midget.

They say that the music is good, and that very well may be, but it's no reason to watch the show.

When society confronts you and demands that you explain the reasons behind your behavior, and you can't do it, then the burden falls entirely on you. It is everyone's responsibility to justify their behavior, because some behaviors are wrong. Society doesn't always give something a fair chance, but I do.

You can't justify supporting merchandise driven programming designed to entice little girls to spend their parents' money. This is the opposite of a creator driven program which is an artistic idea someone thought of on their own, and it was good enough to become a show. MLP is a twenty minute ad, and it's not art. Earthworm Jim is a creator driven entity because Doug TenNapel came up with an idea that was so clever people thought it deserved shows and video games. The creator puts himself into his work and cares deeply about what happens to it. Hasbro doesn't care about ponies, they only care about money. Their not invested in anything about the show other than how much money it's making.

Add to that the complete lack of educational value, the lazy animation, and the mind-rotting cutesiness, and it is not wrong by someone's standards who just doesn't understand, it really is wrong.

Many people watch Jersey Shore, but there is nothing that justifies its popularity. Many people listen to Justin Bieber, but, again, nothing justifies his popularity. They are popular due to a lack of thought - ignorance. They like Bieber because he is white and good looking, and they like MLP because of the cutesy expressions and the affinity they have for dumb memes like pictures of cats with humorous captions.

My Little Pony is wrong - objectively.

Wow, you did your homework... and you have my respect for that...
However...

"I mean they accepted that it was wrong and abandoned their arguments to tell me people can just like whatever they want." about this... Since you do your homework you have a lot of arguments. A lot of people don't bother this much, especially on the internet. I knew a person like that. It was a teacher. Not only my classmates hated her, but her colleagues didn't really like her and... labelled her as "strange" etc. She stuck to her ideals and could win pretty much every argument. In a way she was right, but only when considering that were values were "truth". But people hated her, they forgot her arguments soon after and told exaggerated things about her etc. Even if you "prove" that what we like is "wrong" people won't believe you. Primarily because they don't want to. You are just going to get hated more. This might make you think what might be part of thereason you won all those arguments.

Now let's assume it has no educational value for adults. It can still be enjoyable. Not every single thing has to be educational. People ARE free to enjoy what they want. And why not? You label them as "wrong". To be "wrong" to be "wrong" you have to break some sort of rule, standard, law or something (or be literally wrong about the facts which does not apply here). Now those rules are made for people to coexist without hurting, stealing from each other, so that everyone can be happy. Now there are "you can't watch cartoons since you're an adult" "ponies are for little kids" and other nonsense which became something like "part of natural order". The problem is, there is no reason for people to cling to those, because it doesn't do anything negative neither to the fans neither to non-fans (except maybe for "being a 20 min. add") neither does it encourage anything... "wrong" (as in "doing-harm-to-other-people/making-them-feel-bad-for-some-reason" kind of "wrong", not the "omg-he/she-likes-ponies-but-is-an-adult-and-according-to-my-judgemental-attitude-it-can't-be-this-way(well, guess what, it is)" kind of "wrong". So what is "wrong" with liking the show? Why do we have to justify ourselves for liking something?

Not to mention that MLP:FIM turns haters into non-haters (which, unless you assume that hating is "right", is a good thing), cures depression (to some extend. People tell stories about it in memes). Bronies do charities.

And technically it IS for people of all ages, because they know what fans the show has, the AGE of those fans and they make references from fan-made works and they do it FOR the fans of all ages.

Personally I think you should all just shut the fuck up and stop arguing over a kids TV program. You have no idea how stupid you look.

"stupid" is subjective, a.k.a. your opinion which we don't care about. People tell me that when I, unlike them, use arguments and logic instead of swearing and stuff... btw that is the reason this he/she writes stuff that causes ppl to argue way more.I'm trying to shut him up and if you think that's stupid so be it.
