I can update these colours to the latest episode (Hurricane Fluttershy) and see if there are any colour-changes. And if you look at my profile, I'm from Europe too. I'll will work on this later, and see what's wrong and right. Thanks for telling me, not that you're the first either.

And yes, I already noticed you are from Sweden, that flag in your avatar was kinda hard to miss ^^
You just made the impression of knowing what you got in your files, while I only know that mine are labeled as iTunes version and are 720p. I have no idea what they may have gone through (or not gone through) till they reach me.

You can never be sure what your files has gone trough, but I think I have a very reliable source.

I don't have a clue of what I'm talking about... Have you notice that the colours have changed a lot between episodes 1-12 and 13-26 in the first Season? In the 12th, it was all dull and gray, then all of a sudden, the 13th was bright and colourful.

Yes, that color change struck me again as I watched season 1 episode 12 and shortly after that yesterdays episode. That's a whole different world. The games on their website also use different colors.
I also noticed that when I use vlc's snapshot function instead of using avidemux to get single frames I end up with different colors which are closer to yours. Like #90e4ff for Dash's body. Still not identical though. And now I not only have to question my material, but also my toolchain... So it would be great to know what you get from the episode.

At least I figured out how to get transparent colors like the glass of Dash's goggles.

Okay, a late update, but have now changed the colours (slightly) on Rainbow Dash here . VLC changes the colours of the video and, for some reason, making it duller... There is an video-option which uses hardware YUV to RGB conversion, but not for the screenshots, which makes the video duller than the screenshots. I like how nice all colours are with it off.

Thanks a lot. Now I have a reverence point for the other colors.
I updated VLC now, seems like the new version doesn't change the colors anymore. That makes less confusion for me
