Being brave doesn't mean that you are not afraid of anything, but that you are afraid and still do it!This is a really powerful phrase in my opinion and I am sure there have been some situations in your life which you can be really proud of because you faced your fear!
When I had the first date with my husband back then I thought I would die of fear! I couldn't focus on my previous Japanese lessons at all and was sure I had to vomit any second! Thankfully I did not! xD Of course it turned out to be a lovely evening and it was totally worth it - he also told me that he felt the same way

I'm the kind of person who will walk through every aisle at the store until I find what I need, rather than ask an employee for help

I was terrified of asking for help with my anxiety, depression and ptsd, and things have still been hard. My parents and other adults didn't believe me when I told them about my ptsd, because it hadn't affected me for nine years. I'm now getting the treatment I need (soon) and I really hope I'll be okay

oddly enough when i was little i got into a fight with a kid the same age as me and I some how won the fight. I was so scared to move at first but when he came at me my brain went fuzzy. they only thing I really remember was the other kid running for his life bleeding from his nose.
