hmm whenever I use the dodge tool it seems to darken the eye still and I have it set to 100% ..? Help

thats what I thought as well but I was using the dodge.. I think it is the coloring in my image. I also wanted to know how you got the curve to turn out like that, mine made the image very dark ;/

You're probably using the burn tool. The dodge tool is the one that looks like a lollipop, not the hand.
