I finished this finally! Ive always wanted to post a reference sheet for my original species but I am a procrastinator so yeah.
Anyway.

Description: Smaller warm coloured dragons with narrow wings and defensive frills. shorter neck than most dragons.

Diet: SunWings do not require large meals, similar to SandWings. If a dragon catches a hippopotamus, for example, then they usually share it with their village or squadron. SunWings eat lizards, phirannas, gazelle, zebra, lions, elephants, hippos, etc.

Abilities: Due to generations of crossbreeding that lead to the SunWings, the population is split between venomous dragons and those that can regurgitate food matter into a lava like substance, as well as breathe fire. Can use their frills defensively and emit a loud rattle when threatened.

Queen: Queen Corona

Alliances; Currently allied with Scorch, the SeaWings, and FlareWings in the War of SandWing Succession.

Culture: Dragons tend to live in mountainside villages and are raised to fend for themselves at a very young age. Parents tend to have lifelong relationships. Separation is frowned upon in rural villages but is common in the more wealthy villages. In both types of villages, it is expected that dragonets be involved in the military later in their lives. Dragonet soldiers are not uncommon. Villages produce precious minerals(though not common), building stones like limestone and sandstone, as well as coal, andesite, etc.

Queen: Queen Corona is unusual in various ways. First off, she is accompanied in ruling by her husband King Helios, though she has higher power over him. Corona is a talons on type of queen who often escorts battles and provides guidance to commanders, captains, etc. She sucseeds her mother Khanya. Khanya was known to be greedy and paranoid, as the SunWing palace lies close to the SandWing Kingdom. Later in her life, she becomes greedy and collects all taxes and manages the ecomomy poorly. Because of this, the Kindgom ends up with a general disliking and distrust. Corona spends her early years rebuilding the Kingdom her mother damaged.

History: Countless generations ago, The Sky Kingdom had lax border laws, this lead to multiple SkyWings and RainWings crossbreeding, after generations of this, a subspecies of dragons were born, hence the SunWings.

Fighting Styles: SunWings often use their narrow wings for agile flight in battle, and can dive at very high speeds. Unlike other species, they do not give away their status of fire or poison immediately, they bite, then use their abilities. When SunWings do this, fire breathers are not damaged as they have already higher body temperatures, venomous dragons get to poison their enemy. They use their tails and front claws often. Often, they are grounded, and have to run if they need to retreat, they can also use their front claws on the ground as defense. Their legs allow them to run quickly.

History of the War: When the war begins, Corona has only been on the throne for 4 years, and is chosen as the second alliance Scorch chooses next to the SeaWings. Corona convinces Scorch to ally with the FlareWings as she worried her soldiers still had distrust. Scorch ended up allying with Queen Prominence of the FlareWings, following Corona's advice.

Naming: Dragonets are named after colors, natural living or nonliving things found in the Sun Kingdom, and native names in Swahili Khanya=Light(fantasynamegenerators.com/swah… )
