I get it now; ignorance is bliss. She hates the fact that she now knows that friendship exists because this has caused her to feel miserable about her loneliness. That really is a powerful message.

Ignorance is bliss. I finally understand it now. She knows that she has a duty to preserve the flow of time but after knowing about friendship she can no longer be happy and satisfied with it.

Sort of reminds me of that part of Percy Jackson (the good ones) where Percy takes the burden of carrying the heavens. Wonderful portrayal of Twilight taking up the burden of... What does she do, moves time? Carries time?

Or to sum up Tempora's dialouge in shorter words (or the subtext): "I finally realise. I don't want to be alone. I'm just sorry we could not meet in better circumstances.* At least I hope that is what is hidden in there. Hopefully, assuming time is fixed, they can all be friends.

Well, strictly speaking she can, but I think we can all agree that we'd like forever to last a little longer than it will if Twilight holds time forever.

Is it me or does Tempora refuse to explain why it's the Mane Six's fault for all this happening? Why doesn't she explain why they're the problem for her?! Sheesh, I hate it when they don't outright explain it to prevent further problems. No wonder why there is a tv trope called "poor communication kills" or something.

The only problem I see with this theory is... Tempora blames them for time falling apart and her home being destroyed, so chances are she's going to reject their friendship. They may need to get a neutral character in there to try and talk her down or something.

You know what other problem there is with this? Tempora's body is kinda sorta dead. So that could be a bummer. And Twilight seems a bit too preoccupied to deal with her friendship problem. Wouldn't trust any of the others to solve it either.

friendship fixes everything!
the weaponized rays of friendship are specifically what broke it, buuut the way things are looking the only way to break it further is to unravel everything into nonexistence so even if they fail harder I doubt they would know it.

Not quite what broke it. What broke things was Tempora realizing how much she wanted friendship, yet believing she could ever have it. So yeah, getting her to accept she could have both friendship and her duty proceeding smoothly is the fix.

except she specifically referred to the Elements of Harmony reforming Nightmare Moon as something that was not supposed to happen.
Where is everyone getting the deep emotional insight into Tempora's viewpoint? All I can remember seeing in the comic is panic, frustrations and accusations of the elements (the ponies and/or artifacts) making things that weren't supposed to be. Like mentioned above.

Oh boy! Now they really have to hurry. Tempora in some ways reminds me of Sailor Pluto from Sailor Moon because she was destined to watch the Door of Time (and other things) for all eternity either.
