Funimation is better than 4Kids.

Both companies have had their flaws, but I'd say Funimation because at least they try to be faithful towards the original Japanese version of anime and they offer uncut original versions with subtitles most of the time. 4Kids also did have the original uncut Japanese episodes of Sonic X with English subtitles for a while on their YouTube page, but that wasn't for long unfortunately either.
