Description
Brian Braddock originally chose the Amulet of Right when faced with near death. When he made the same choice after torture by the sorceress Morgan Le Fay, he chose the Sword of Might instead and lost the title of Captain Britain. A choice that he felt was ripped from him in a moment of weakness. Now wielding the Sword of Might, as one of the Champions of Krakoa selected despite his lack of an X-Gene, Brian Braddock was forced to wield the Sword of Might out of righteousness rather than anger. Despite Saturnyne's efforts to restore the Captain Britain Corp which led to her creating the Starlight Blade for him, he refused, and was named as Captain Avalon by his brother, the reality warper Jamie Braddock. Now, he fights along his sister Psylocke as one of the ten who fight for Krakoa in the X of Swords tournament. The choices ripped from him, as well as the title of Captain Britain, and the fact that he ripped to shreds Saturnyne's temptation represents my take on Inktober2020 Day 23: Rip.
