There's free software called Mandelbulb3d. You can download it here: [link]

There is a bit of a learning curve but don't let that stop you. There are many tutorials on dA and elsewhere plus a super friendly community that will assist.

Lastly, beware - it's super addictive to create these images And I'm only half kidding!

There's extra formulas available but start with what comes in the first download - note me if you need more pointers
