I am super happy with this one!
With the shading, color choices, and pose, I'd say that this is definitely one of my better works! The one thing that could make this better is if I were able to have all of Spidey on the page. I gotta' stop doing that... You're right to say your color choice and the shading was good. Great, actually. The perspective is done well, as well as the highlights on the black mask. You can tell you took your time on the lines for his suit, and that's a sign you truly love art, and you're willing to take your time to make it as neat as possible for your viewers. I'm sure I speak for many others when I say that's a great thing to have. Some artist slap their work down, and it may be... presentable, but if they had taken their time to clean it up a little, or had just taken their time to do it in the first place, they would be truly magnificent. You have that potential. If you keep taking your time, you'll do amazing things, I'm sure!

Yep, I did take my time with this (in fact, I remember it taking maybe a day or two in total), and I'm still glad for it. Though, I'm not as excited for this one as much since I can see plenty of errors to've been improved. I understand when other artist just slap a piece of art down, but what keeps me going is my passion for art; this is fun for me and others, so I want to make the best of it. Again, thanks a bunch, Xan, you've given me plenty of motivation and this means quite a bit coming from you.

I'm sure that you could do this coloring, it was mainly a focus on darks and lights, so it would just take practice with values.
Yeah, I really love the pose too. It's Spider-Man's defensive stance that he uses in the videogame Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, and I LOVE defensive stance!

Sorry for just now replying to your comment; I either didn't catch this in the comments box or I accidentally deleted it without seeing it. Anyways, yes, I have the Amazing Spider-Man movie game (for PS3). It's pretty awesome, but it's very, very repetitive, so I'd say it's 50/50.
