I was having a strong pull to do a vexel, so much so that I decided to do it in one day, which I never do. I'm going to be completely honest... I LOVE THIS PIECE! Not only is the stock image gorgeous, but I feel like there's been some improvement in my methods of vexeling. I'm learning a little each time I do one and right now, this is my favorite. It's fun and close up and detailed (sorta). Also, the background behind her head is just sort of whatever was behind her in the picture. It has no rhyme or reason, it's just what was there and I liked to have something dark behind her.

AHHHHHH!!!!

Overreaction? I think not! This is my FIRST DD! Oh my gosh, I'm so excited. When I finished this piece I just knew that I loved it and I'm so very grateful to the friend I have in =rjonesdesign as well as `Jules1983 . I have only just become acquainted with Randy and he's such an inspiration and such a wonderful, warm person. Jules and I have been around the same circuit before, with little contact until I joined *vexelove and she's a great mentor and inspiration as well. It's people like this that have shown me my full potential for vexeling. I thank you!
