She's not perfect, some part of the background are bland and the hand is a little rushed, but it's only because there are many nice things in your drawing
the colors and light one Midna are interesting, giving her like a somewhat traditional paint feel. Her expression and body proportions works nicely, it's Midna.

So, you've finally finished her eh? Even after that comment, I still can't imagine what should would have looked like with breasts, but I imagine it wasn't very good, at least in this form anyway. Looks like you had a bit of trouble with the hand there and here knee looks like it wasn't rounded, but in the grand scheme of things it looks good enough for you to sell at the convention. The details on the helm look good, but it seems like you finally got tired and didn't put too much work into a good portion of the background, which, I think, would have added a much grander feel to the piece. There is something there and you didn't want to leave it bare, and then again, I know your style well enough to know that the background would have been simple, BUT that there would have been abit more to it. So that's my critique.

Woo! An accurate critique. You pretty much hit on every point that I actually cheated on (a bit). I cropped a good portion of the background I didnt work on and looking back on this I think Im either going to extend the bottom part or just move her leg. It looks kind of awkward going off the page... Not really sure what to do with the hand because I get that its a bit awkward looking but Im not sure if theres anything I could really do without changing the entire proportion and weight of her body. Best I could do is maybe change the lighting a bit...
All in all... going to go back and finish the background, change her leg, and general clean this up. :3

Y'know, you could always turn her hand so that her palm faces toward our side of the screen. In the very least I would think according to the way she is positioned that she would actually look a little more natural and relaxed where as with her hand the way it is, she looks a bit stiffed up. Anyway, I suppose I am rather glad that my critique was accurate but perhaps there is forgery in the fact that maybe you were just trying to be nice. especially since you know how I feel about my position in giving critiques specifically for art... *ahem*
I guess we'll see how it looks when you finally get back to this one and fix it.

Hmm, I like this one quite alot. The character it's self reminds me of a Zelda character [or at least im pretty sure its Zelda], and it has just the right amount of detail; also, the head/face area is lot crisper which does a great job for drawing at least my attention in. I really like the deep colors and sharp yet smooth shapes you used in her eye and I'm also quite fond of surrounding the cards, or perhaps tile pieces with light to show that they're being moved in some kind of super natural way. All in all I like this alot and would change a thing... Although, now that I've typed up all this and googled her, I think you might have her mirrored, but you more than likely already knew that... OR IT'S AN EVIL TWIN!
