Description The first time I saw 'Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World' - more specifically when I heard "Black Sheep" - I immediately put Dazzler into the role of Envy Adams and it became 'Scott Summers Vs. The World'. I was so excited I had to draw her and her version of the greatest band in the universe, The Clash at Demonhead.

... and then I tried drawing in creator Bryan Lee O'Malley's style and 'bout lost mah mind so I gave up. I watched it again the other night and decided to give it another try. Seriously, it's the most deceptively simple looking styles that kill me the most.

Anywaggle, Envy was the obvious inspiration for Dazz. I was going to make her more trendy/hipster but decided to stick with her classic look because the star should look like the star.

Logan, our drummer, was inspired by Stephen Stills.
Jean-Paul, on lead guitar, is practically a ripoff Todd Ingram.
Betsy, killer keyboardist, is sort of a Ramona/Knives amalgam. I guess. She started punkier but I ultimately preferred a more chic, classy look. She IS a lady, after all.

Thank you very much! Dunno if I could ever try his style again but I think it worked out. I'm glad you like.
