I already do, I think. I taught the function of 2 buttons on an EOS350D and FOV crop to a girl who has been the owner of one such model for well over a year... Technically, that makes me obsessed.

That's the way of the world, Dan. I was into music big time in the late 60's and onwards and I brought my first HiFi, £50, took me 6 months to save up. The one I really wanted was £120 but could not wait. Now I can go out for a evening meal and it will cost £50+ and not even think about.
You buy what you can afford and bosses have to show that their company is doing well by buying the lastest and best model.
I want a Nikon 80-400 VR lens £1000 but I will settle for a Sigma 170-500 for £350. Again I will save up before buying.
What I am trying to say is that it is always difficult and at a young age to unless you come from a privileged background. You know what you want but not got the finances till later in life. Dreaming is good.

I'm not one of those fortunate youngsters to be driving BMWs that my daddy bought me, and I'm proud because of that. Those people will never really appreciate the value of hard-earned money.

Meet and worked for Bosses like that.
Myself, worked since 15 and always had a job of some sort but never anything shady or dishonest. Mother taught me well and how to set standards. Doing OK now and feel better for it.

Thank you, Katya. First thing in the morning and at sunset it is beautiful. The rocks are sandstone and erode very easily, leaving many strange shapes, holes and colours. Mavellous.

It is a magical place and perfect for photographers of all types. I did see someone with a large format camera on a tripod taking close-ups of the rocks. So visit your coast and get snapping.
