There are several "Slayers" movies, and they take place years before the series. The movies just have the red head from the Halloween pic, and the very tall busty older sister of the dark-haired girl. BUT the only one of the movies I've seen is "Slayers Premium", which includes the characters from the series (it wasn't good, not even worth renting).

The point is, these two are from the Slayers TV series. I actually own the DVD set of 78 episodes over three seasons (it's the only whole series I own of anything). Season one is (just) "Slayers", it starts out slowly, but it's good. The second season is "Slayers Next", this is probably my favorite, it has a number of just insanely silly episodes (like the one where they're fishing, or dressing up like Sailor Moon, or the one with them in animal costumes), and some really dramatic episodes... like the last two episodes are great... you see most of the characters die one at a time. The third series is "Slayers Try", it's the most dramatic. There are the fewest funny episodes (I think).

I originally watched the subtitled version of the 3rd season on an international channel on cable... then they cancelled it before I saw the rest, and that's why I bought the DVDs. I then watched the dubbed version, and didn't mind it, but it's hard to guess what you'll think.
