Description
Sorry, I'm a day late with this page. It just seemed like it took forever.I'm not sure how to describe this page. I think this is the third page where Annie's chest has been the punchline in a way. I didn't intend that exactly, but it's common for suggestions that I should cover some of the ramifications of her change more. Not that this is it, but I suspected Lucy and Tabitha would have different reactions. Lucy might be more negative, and Tabitha (who is pretty busty herself) might feel the need to give strange advice.
I almost had Annie end with "It's really easy to make one unintentionally."
As always, you can also view the comic here- [link]

I like the way that people around her are being supportive, albeit in a variety of ways. The underboob washing doesn't sound to me like a joke, as someone who's never had to deal with female breasts on their own body, I might not have considered something like that. Same would, to my reasoning, be true of someone with a much more modest bust. Mostly, though, I like that she didn't go the route of just suddenly being bolder, and getting more attention. keeping it classy. It helps that you're not writing that kind of fiction, anyway, but I still wanted to show that I appreciate a writer/creator resisting the temptation presented by low-hanging fruit

I personally imagine Tabitha being jealous of Annie, and just giving her that kind of advice to be a passive aggressive bitch. lol After all, she's now the 'Small' busted one of the pair, when no doubt she is used the being the busty one.
I like the last panel btw, Annie looks rather cute.

I don't think Tabitha has bad intentions about this. She had kind of an alpha personality at first, but she sort of won, and now I thought she'd almost feel the need to protect Annie. Kind of like she was trying to be the leader, and after that happened, she has the responsibility of being the leader.
I also wanted a clear positive voice about Annie's change, and clear negative voice about Annie's change. I thought a negative voice could be Lucy, Annie's long-time friend, and the one she used to be more like physically. For a positive voice, Tabitha seemed like a good choice. Maybe Tabitha is happy with herself, and doesn't feel she'd be better off being more busty. She's the small busted one of the pair, but the two of them are by far the bustiest characters of the cast. The cast originally was made up of two small-busted characters (Lucy and Annie), three average deviation characters (Dr. Mae, Mira, Arim), and a busty character (Tabitha). In some way, I felt like she might feel like there was now someone more like her in the group, and that she should encourage Annie to like this change.

Makes sense. But now I'm stuck wondering if Tabitha knows this just out of common sense or is there some untold back story involving her personal experience with dirty underboobs and a guy...

Maybe it's just something she noticed about herself. She's a boob sage. Maybe an older family member once said that to her as she was growing up.

When I read 'family member,' I suddenly imagined Eve getting the same advice from her aunt... lol

I like how dire and serious Tabitha looks in the 4th panel, it's humorous considering the topic.

I think it would be stranger to ignore it completely. There's a balance, of course, and perhaps the last iteration of the comic swung too far the other way, but I think you've struck a fine balance. No one can be super-serious *all* the time, and it really humanizes her problems in this sci-fi, techno-magical world that yes, when you've got that much overhang, it's important to get those spaces or you'll get a rash.
