STORY

Each planet in our universe has its own unique god called an Aeroyos— a celestial being that can take form as a human, dragon, or a combination of both. Their gender and body can change whenever they feel necessary. These gods have multiple powerful abilities, but usually have one power that is their primary.

The only planet who doesn’t have its own Aeroyos is Earth. There is tale that the god who was originally created from this planet had disappeared, or perhaps turned into stardust.

Despite emerging from the biggest planet in the universe and being the largest of the Aeroyos, Jupiter found himself quite fond of healing magic. At first, he doubted his choice of power due to his gifted size and strength. “I could be more helpful in ways the other gods can’t”, he thought. With great determination, he set out to explore different planets to hopefully find his main power.

After some time, Jupiter found himself on the planet Earth. Not many of the Aeroyos speak about this forgotten planet, nor do they visit. “It just takes space” They told him. “It’s nothing but rocks and dirt.”

They were completely wrong though. Earth is full of life and creatures Jupiter has never seen before. The sky is a rich blue and the ground is a vivid green that can change color over time… There are so many creatures that thrive from what the planet offers them and even they change colors depending on what region they live. No other planet in their universe holds life like this. Why haven’t any of his people had a desire to explore it?

While in the southern hemisphere of earth, deep in a forest, he stumbled upon a long, spotted snake entangled with another. With a smile, he approaches the creatures, but to only find out that they don’t scurry or slither away like the others. He kneels beside them and sees that the snakes are covered in a red substance… As if something hit their small heads in hopes to hurt the helpless things. He wonders if one was wasting away, the other came to accompany it through it’s passage.

His heart swells. Jupiter feels their life fading and it pains him to see it happen before his eyes. In a split second decision, he outstretches his hands and a light teal glow shines in the middle of his palms. Each snake slowly turns white in color that fades into that same teal color at the tip of their tails. With their tongues flickering and their eyes focused on Jupiter, they slither up his arms and wrap themselves around his shoulders, hissing happily.

Realizing the joy he received while healing his snakes, Europa and Callisto, he decided that the universe was calling to him and told him to be the Aeroyos healer.
