Colorful is right--I think orange might be the only representative of the rainbow I don't see being used here!
The intricate, symmetrical patterns are wonderfully outlined and shaded here, and the framing/composition of the image as a whole helps give off a mesmerizing vibe that make it hard for one to take their eyes away from the image.
