Description
Took this one on my balcony. I wasn't expecting the wasp to fly away, but I think I've been quite luckyIt's a little blurred and the flowers are missing the contrast they have on the original slide, but I think it's nice anyway
Nikon F70, 35-70 Nikkor, Tamron close-up lenses, Kodak E100VS film
Unsharp Mask in PS, 130%, 1.7 radius, 6 threshold.
NOTE: This is a new scan, done with my new Nikon Coolscan IV ED. As you can see, the dust is gone, and the overall image is imho a much better

I could have sworn I commented on this already! Odd. Obviously I didn't. Although I distinctly remember typing a comment in. Maybe I just didn't hit the submit button.
Odd.
Anyway... COOL! hehe... Now is my chance! MUAHAHA! Actually, the only thing I'm wondering is if your lens was dirty when you took this. There's a little dust on the image and that just reminded me that I'm always concerned about dirty lenses.
Otherwise, this rocks. I have yet to catch any little critters in flight. *sigh* But between you and JTD giving me pointers, I'm sure it's only a matter of time.
