Back at it again with another Naruto Sketch. This time, it’s everyone’s favorite Hyuga!

…No, not that Hyuga, the other Hyuga…What’s that, you say? He’s not everyone’s favorite? Oh…oh well. I already drew him.

This time around, it’s Neji, and I gave him more of a modern tactical military look than with my other sketches. He seems to have came out a little bit tall and wide, but it’s no big deal. I even gave him a pair of blades, an Egyptian Short Sword and Dagger known as Venomous Grace; those of you who play Assassin’s Creed will probably know about this weapon. He even has new sharp throwing knifes that go into each of his packets around his waist and at his legs.

As for the Headband he now wears, the Headband of Preservation, he wears for good reason, as like many characters, he’s put through hell, but manages to preserve and come out better, especially in the story I have in the making. You may have also noticed that he has no seal on his forehead. That’s because in the story, Naruto accidentally removes when he strikes Neji with a special technique: 咏春拳：净化拳

Roughly translates to “Wing Chun: Purifying Fist”

Yes, Naruto knows Chinese Martial Arts. Deal with it.

The strike causes the seal to be dispelled and for Neji to no longer feel the pressure of serving the Main Branch of the Family. Because of this, Neji feels in debt to Naruto for now on, but all Naruto wants is for Neji to feel a better person and to simply let fate decide his actions. He even went as far as to design Neji’s new uniform, give him his new weapons and teach him a thing or two about how to use them.

So yeah, Neji becomes a better person and does suffer as much.

I’m too much of a nice guy to let anything bad happen to main characters such as him.

Overall, I do think I made Neji look a little too big, but the design looks good. I based it off of Robin’s Knight Ops look from the game, Gotham Knights and replaced the belts of his headband with parts of his hair that were tied with laces, as shown here.

Wonder who I should do next.
