Soleil means "Sun" in French.

I was just winging it with this one in all honesty. I just couldn't figure how exactly was I supposed to draw her. But, when I got to her head, she actually turned out pretty okay. I'm glad it came out those way; I think I'm getting better at this.

If I were to think of a backstory for how Luz looks this way, it would be this: Upon saving her friends, Luz didn't make it. She...was captured by Belos, having been wounded and put under stasis for sometime, everybody believed she was dead. But, a few months later, Luz makes her reappearance as a new member to the Emperor's Coven, marked as his new heir and was given a new look and magic. The time she spent under stasis had made her skin pale and her hair change color. But Luz's spirit could not be broken, as when she came to, she was horrified by what Belos had done to her and swore that she pay her back for this. Dawning a new staff similar to Belos and learning how to master her new magic abilities, Luz became Soleil, the blackened Sun.

....Yeah, that's basically it. Not very originally, but I like it. That's what matters.

Also, I saw the trailer for Season 2. And can I just say... Yikes.
