Oh mein Gott, more traditional crap! D:Seeing all sorts of Manic fanart on dA made me want to draw hiimmmmm... x3333 Manic is a cutey, he's tough, yet the youngest of the three... even though he Sonia and Sonic are triplets. xD O.o I think the triplet thing is only from the English dub of the show coz they don't mention them being triplets in the French or in the German (I don't think). Oh well, I like it better that they're triplets coz hedgehogs have litters, right? O.o On wiki it says that hedgehogs have 3-4 babies at a time... ...which is weird becaue Lightning was the only baby born... and so was Thunder, Rain... and... a lotta others. ...now I'm confused. DX Oh well.
...wow, I was typing while thinking! XD Hehee... that happens alot. ANYWAY....
Manic's a really awesome char. I think he's the best Sonic character not made by Sonic Team. Now I'm gonna talk about his hair.

It's SOOOO hard to draw, let alone ANIMATE. Jesus. I don't see HOW they animated him with his hair. X___X *wail* Don't get me wrong, I love his hair. XD It's taaaalllllllllll... but... ARG! >_<
Whatever. Manic's Manic and that's all he'll ever be. x)
Another thing I've noticed with Manic fanart. He has different eyecolor. O.o Blue, yellow, green... I see blue a lot. But for some reason, I see Manic with brown eyes. x3 Hehe. I dunno.
I'm done talking about Manic. DX Dunno why I am. XD I guess I'm just uberly bored and using this comment as an excuse to not do my homeschooling. xD Hehe.
I used Stabilo marker pen thingies to ink this, and Prismas to color. <3

heh yea his hair is pretty hard to do...
For Comic Con-Anime Fest 2010, I did Grundge Manic and I believe only 8 people recognized me cause I was standing beside My pal Jordan who did Sonic and I had a pair of drumsticks... My wig was perfect but when I got into the tunnel, this brat pulled my hair and ruined the front spikeys... my friends did the best they could T_T
anyway.... GREAT job! and hopefully I will be Manic the Hedgehog again for Anime Next 2011!!

Dunno if you check back on this account any, but...
I see him with brown eyes too, it balances out the rest somehow. And the soft bright colors here make me happy. (Plus I like seeing characters not posing but looking like they're alive and thinking and whatnot.) And You did something good with the hair here

I think he has different eye colours in pictures because, like Sonic, he had brown eyes. Sonic's eye colour changed to Green over the years... so made his would've changed aswell?

Manic is so bad ass, I love him! That'd be so cool if they did a remake of the show. Just they way they drew them with huge heads and very small bodies and Eggman..Oh lord, don't get me started! And itd be so sweet if they mentioned SOnia and Manic in SOnic X! Or the games.
