Okay, so here is the story. It was late at night and I was thinking to myself what Roman's hidden eye looks like. And I thought maybe it involves his semblance. (My friends told me everyone has one so don't blame me for being wrong please ;n; ) And I thought about how he never really uses it when he fights. So maybe he can't use it in a basic battle. Then somewhere in time I got the idea maybe he has a Grimm eye. And he speak to Grimm telepathically through the eye. And he covers the eye because it can't fade away, its just stays. And it gets worse when he is actually using the semblance, like it spreads. Or maybe he's afraid of people seeing it so he covers it.
I also feel like Ruby would be one of the few people that actually see Roman's eye, whether by accident or not. It the case of the picture not. I feel like I have more to say but its 5 am I can't think. So yeah :3333
