*Made on Octoling*Made concept art of Sunni, a disguised Octoling who made it his personal quest to infiltrate the Deep Sea Metro and de-sanitize test subjects. He later became the underground doctor and scientist who helps Eshki with her de-sanitization treatment and her occurrences of zoning out
When I was writing Eshki’s (very long bio), I established that she and other subjects had “natural/biological resistance to sanitization.” But I soon realized that her being among the few that had that just didn’t make sense when she went through the process for 2 years, so I needed a new idea to explain how it took so long for these subjects to get sanitized. Then I suddenly came up with a new character, Sunni, as I was writing the part where Eshki got her desanitization treatment. How did she get it? How did Eshki overcome her moments of zoning out in the middle of a task? It was all thanks to this weird little scientist-doctor.
I used the concept art of the lab coat Octoling as a reference for the design and pose, and somehow I forgot to add that detail 💀
