Hey-o!

Ive been thinking since i drew the old version of Kimi that she lacked a certain pa-zazz, and flair that alot of other artists have the their OC's.
I didnt really push myself my come up with a good pose or style either, beacuse i had alot of other OC's in mind at the time.

So, i recently went to London with Toby and his brother Ed (which was very fun) and while i was in one of the shops we normally go to, i amazingly came across the 2nd art book by one of my favourite artists - Shunya Yamashita.

I love his work and style, and to actually own one his art books is brilliant, beacuse since then ive been looking intently at how he draws his anatomy, faces and colours his works.

i drew a few of his drawings from the book, and decided i really wanted to use of alot of the elements he uses in my own works. i was inspired so much by it -

And so this was born, the new, WAY better Kimi Miyuki.

I am so happy with how this turned out! it took a long time but it was worth it!
I drew a pose that i liked from the book, edited it to fit her personality, and went from there.
i have managed to keep my same sort of colouring style, and through trial and error, have found that soft shading works really well with hard shading, and makes the whole thing look for life-like and 3D.
Plus lighting on the face, and shoulders etc really adds to this effect.
i changed some of her clothing and made the fabric look better, and i think she looks quite a bit sexier now
Also added more colour to her, though keeping the same sort of scheme.
The face too, im really happy with. The eyes, nose and mouth, and how well they fit with the rest of her, and her personality (which you can look at the old one for).
Ive learnt so much from doing this, including the things i mentioned above, and very much about anatomy, i really feel more confident with it now than i did before, so much so that i feel like i want to adjust all my previous devations so they look like this one!

Anyway i hope you all like it, i'm realy going to try and have all my future submissions be as good as this, and in the same style.
