hey everyone!finally a new deviation!
I saw X-men origins - 'wolverine' twice last week and loved it, one of the main reasons being that one of my favourite x-men was in it - gambit.
his parts were short but awesome, and i'm so glad they decided to put him in the film.
Taylor kitsch makes a very good gambit, with the perfect introduction to his character, fight scenes and such.
So anyway (went off on a tangent there)
to the celebrate the film, gambit, and his awesomeness, here he is.
i kept most of the sketch lines in there because i think they look pretty cool

Nice job man, and i really like your new shading style. I think it worked out the best on the shirt and jacket =] And that eye thing you did looks great too.

You're always welcome. Personally i think you should make that sketchy style your own style, like your 'trademark'.

it is really fun to do, i think it just works better for the guy characters mainly. for some reason i like the girl characters i draw to be clean, clear and stuff y'know? not sure why really.
although technically (may as well go all nerd on you)
she wouldnt even of been born at that time as it was set 17 years before x-men 1!
so when they get together later he must be at least 35ish!

No that makes complete sense. You want the girls to have a more feminine feel, whereas the guys need to be more edgey - sketchy.

Very Nice Gambit was so cool in the film I saw it on Bank Holiday Monday and it was perhaps the best film I have seen in ages...
